“This classic Cope2 throw up was handed down to me in 1982 by the one and only Cap One — a true legend of bombing back in the 1980’s on the New York City subway system — who also is in the movie Style Wars!

Silver and black were the two colors that legendary bombers like IN, IZ, Seen, Comet, Blade, Min, Quik, Pjay, Cap and many more used to get their names up much quicker on the New York City subway system.

The silver coated much more solid and was much brighter so it made more of an impact. You got more throw ups out of it too, because silver spread quickly especially if you’re at war with another bomber. Black is just a dominate color and so solid, so it was mostly used to outline your throw up.”
