Finally, 7 years after the ending of one of the most successful tv shows of all time “The Sopranos” is receiving the blu-ray treatment it deserves. Arguably the greatest tv show of all time, “The Sopranos” has been on the top of many most wished for blu-ray release lists for years and the long awaited news was broken this morning by Hollywood Reporter.
The complete series box set will feature all six seasons of the show across 28 discs including more than 5 hours of extra materials and also featuring a digital HD copy for each season. This massive 86 episode set will be released on November 4th, 2014 which will be just a few weeks short of Black Friday. The retail price as of now is listed at $279.98 which works out to about $3.25 an episode which is actually really reasonable considering what HBO has charged in the past. Also, when the preorder prices come up on Amazon you can be sure there will be at least a 20%-30% discount on top of that.
